Once
2007

How often do you find the right person?

A rare innocence made this tiny film the sleeper hit of 2007 in the US. Shot for only 150,000 USD,
‘Once’ has already garnered 9m at the US box office alone making it proportionately, one of the most profitable films in cinema history. It also won the Oscar for Best Song and was nominated for 2 Grammy Awards.

A young Czech immigrant meets a 30 something Irish busker on the streets of Dublin as he sings his heart out to a crowd of one. The two immediately bond and, as they begin to write music together, they work through their past loves and their affection for one another grows.
A thoroughly charming and unconventional love story, driven more by music than by dialogue, ONCE features a stirring soundtrack of heartfelt indie rock sung by the two lead actors.
